One-Punch Man

Among the many anime series that are currently on the air, One-Punch Man is a very popular series. The series was created by Japanese manga artist ONE, and it grew in popularity to the point where it was adapted into an animated series. The cursed object is the finger of Sukuna, King of Curses. Its power draws curses into the school. Its energy hurts anyone who touches it.

Code Geass

Developed by Project Geass and produced by Sunrise, the Code Geass anime series follows Lelouch vi Britannia, an exiled prince who acquires the magical “Geass” ability, which enables him to command anyone to do his bidding. It is set in an alternate timeline and features a variety of memorable characters and mecha battles. It has been adapted into numerous movies, games and manga.

The anime has been popular in North America. Bandai Entertainment licensed the franchise to the United States in December 2007. There are several spin-offs, including Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch, which has been licensed by Funimation in the US.

March Comes in Like a Lion

Among the many manga series, March Comes in Like a Lion (or 3-gatsu no Lion in Japanese) is one of the best. It is a slice of life manga, and centers around a young orphan named Rei. He left his foster parents when he was young, and now makes a living as a professional shogi player. He deals with his heartache and makes a few friends along the way. In the end, he proves to be more than a mere pawn in the hands of a scheming rogue.
